Over the weekend, Jeff and I headed to Miami to board the Norwegian Cruise Line’s largest ship, the Escape! Obviously I had to break out my favorite cruise wear; woven tote, tropical print dress, floppy hat and strappy heels! Palm tree print aka banana leaf print is super popular and this dress is the perfect print. I love the twist on this dress, adding the coral lilies and a tie front neckline. It’s adorable for a cruise or a beach vacation!
Also I’ve become obsessed with DIY pompoms. I purchased a pom pom maker and have been adding pom poms to a few of my bare woven totes. They’re so fun and with the ties, I can change it up based on my outfit! I’ve also made a pink, white and turquoise attachment which I love.
Now onto the ship…Jeff and I were invited onto the NCL Escape for an afternoon of wine tasting with Michael Mondavi of the Robert Mondavi vineyards (literally sat across from him at lunch, I was soooo nervous). We also had a quick tour of the ship: there’s a wine bar, mojito bar, brewery with a bunch of Florida brewers and Jimmy Buffet’s Margaritaville to name a few highlights. I wish we could’ve stayed longer but as Jeff and I have cruised on NCL maybe 8 times, I’m sure we’ll be back soon! Isn’t the view of Miami behind me gorgeous?! I could look at that view for hours!
